  • 1 to 1-1/2 lb ground beef chuck
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions

Heat a teaspoon of oil in the skillet and add soy sauce, onions, celery, and mushrooms. Next, add the meat and let it brown. Once cooked, add the rice, water, and soup. Bring all of this to boil, till the rice gets cooked. Garnish it with spring onions and serve it hot.

Cheesy Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 2 lb frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 lb sour cream
  • 1/4 lb melted butter
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

Thaw the potatoes, clean them and slice them. Mix all the ingredients and place them on greased baking pans. Bake the dish for 1 hour at 350 Fahrenheit.

Chicken Potluck

Ingredients
  • 5 chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 box frozen peas
  • 1 bag egg noodles
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Parsley to taste
Directions

Boil the egg noodles and the chicken breast till tender. In a skillet, mix the remaining ingredients and brown cook them well. Now, place the chicken breasts on the bottom of a greased baking pan, egg noodles on top, then remaining ingredients, and lastly layer it with cheddar cheese. Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, till the cheese is melted and turn golden.

Ingredients
  • 1 head lettuce, cut in pieces
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 12 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed, and uncooked
Directions

Layer bacon, eggs, onion, peas, carrots, celery, and lettuce in a greased baking pan. Bake till the bacon is cooked. For the dressing mix two tablespoons of salad dressing, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 tablespoon vinegar. Spread this mixture evenly all over the vegetables. Refrigerate the salad and serve it with some shredded cheese.

Cabbage Coleslaw

Ingredients
  • 1 packet shredded cabbage
  • 1 can drained, diced pineapple
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • Mayonnaise to taste (3-4 tbsp.)
Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Add the mayonnaise and refrigerate it for an hour before serving.

  • 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1-2 diced green onions
